One- Vacancy and Pay Scale :- Applications are invited for the post of District Judge (Entry Level) in Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service, in the pay scale of Rs. 51550-1230- 58930-1380-63070 in the cadre of Higher Judicial Service by direct recruitment from the Bar. Recruitment to these posts and conditions of service shall be governed by the Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service (Recruitment and Conditions of Service), Rules 2006, as on the last date of submission of application forms.

Two- Eligibility :- (a) No person shall be eligible for appointment by direct recruitment unless, he or she – (i) is a citizen of India, (ii) has attained the age of 35 years and has not attained the age of 45 years on the first day of January in the year in which applications for appointment are invited i.e. 01/01/2015, provided that upper age limit shall be relaxed upto a maximum limit of 3 years for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes; (iii) has for atleast seven years been an advocate as on 01/01/2015. (iv) has good character and is of sound mind and body and free from any bodily and mental disability which renders him unfit for such appointment. Application should be submitted only on the proforma available on the website of Chhattisgarh High Court i.e. www.cghighcourt.nic.in. The application form must be computer-printed or downloaded in A4 size paper. (a) The bonafide residents of Chhattisgarh belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Classes should specify their category in the application form. (b) The application duly filled in and signed along with Identity-Sheet & four identical and recent passport size self attested photographs with name and address of the applicant on the back of the photographs affixing one photograph on application form, one photograph on Identity-Sheet and two photographs to be stapled at the space provided in the application form and Two self addressed envelope (11" x 5") stamped with postal stamps of Rs. 25/– each addressed to the Registrar General, High Court of Chhattisgarh, at Bodri, Bilaspur (C.G.) Pin – 495220, must re ach the Registry of this High Court on or before 07/08/2015 till 5:00 P.M. The words "Application for District Judge (Entry Level) Examination 2015 by direct recruitment and the Advt. No. 01/S & A Cell/2015" should be written on the top of the 14 X 10 Inch size envelope. (c) Last date for submission of duly filled in & signed application is 07/08/2015 till 5:00 P.M. It is the responsibility of the applicant that his/her application must reach in the Registry office by 5:00 p.m. of the last date. The applications may also be submitted by dropping it in the “Box” kept therefor in the Registry office during the office hours i.e. from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on every working day till the last date.
